OUT MY MIND JUST IN TIME from Creative Control on Vimeo.

The magnificent Erykah Badu has just released a new video for a track from her latest album, New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh. She has directed the video herself, by the way. Give it a spin.

Brand new retro

This one is a deep and beautiful soul jazz piece by English new comer, Michael Kiwanuka. He’s got an unbelievable voice, and the production makes this sound as if it is a lost classic from the sixties or seventies. It was recorded on the Isle of Wight by The Bees, a UK band which managed to refine that retro sound into something truly spectacular.

Michael’s EP is out soon, look out for it  also on iMesh
